On 18.03.2015, the International Sports Organization of the World Alpagut Federation held an extraordinary meeting at the Azerbaijan Atatürk Center. At the meeting, the Executive Board of the World Alpagut Federation was determined as follows:

According to the decisions taken, Azerbaijan Deputy Nizami Caferov was elected the new president of the World Alpagut Federation. The former president of the institution, businessman Farid Alizade, has been appointed as the Honorary President of the World Alpagut Federation.
At the meeting, the new internal regulation and the new management structure of the federation were formed:
– 1st vice president: Aras Abdullaev (Azerbaijan)
– Media vice president: Elnur Huseynov (Azerbaijan)
– Vice president responsible for the Aycha system: Marina Belyaeva (Russia)
– Vice president responsible for the Batur system: Faik Mammadov (Georgia)
– Vice president responsible for the Caymaz system: Behmenyar Aliyev (Azerbaijan)
– NTK President: Arzu Eyvazova (Azerbaijan)
– General Secretary : Anar Aliyev (Azerbaijan)
– Chairman of the referees committee: Namig Fast (Germany)
President of the newly elected World Alpagut Federation, Nizami Jafarov, is the director of Azerbaijan Ataturk Center. He is a deputy of the Azerbaijan National Assembly. He is also a doctor of philosophy, professor, veteran scientist, member of the Azerbaijan National Sciences Academy, a member of the Azerbaijan Writers’ Union and the head of the general linguistics department of Baku State University.
