On February 22, 2015, the 1st Open Republican Championship on Alpagut Martial Arts, held jointly by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Alpagut Federation, came to an end.
The championship was organized at the Shagan Olympic Sports Complex in Baku city. 120 athletes attended Agjabadi, Baku (Surakhani, Narimanov, Binagadi districts), Sumgayit, Shabran, Gazakh, Mingachevir, Azer Eyvazov Sports Club, Mard Sports Club, Vashag Club, and Alp Sports Club, Eagle Professional Sports Club took part in the championship.
Teams competed in the Alpagut martial art on Ayça, Batur, Caymaz combat systems. Aycha combat system, Surakhani 1st place, Narimanov 2nd place, Binagadi 3rd place, Batur combat system, Sumgayit 1, Alpturan 2nd place, Lokomotiv 3rd place, Eagle Sports Club 1st place in Jaymaz combat system, Gazakh 2nd place, Narimanov They won 3 places.
It should be noted that this competition was officially the first republican championship on Alpagut in Azerbaijan.
