The meeting, held at the “Baku Istanbul Lyceum”, was attended by members of the Board and the Observation Council.
The opening was made by the president of the World Alpagut Federation, deputy Jala Ahmedova. She reported on the six-month results for the year 2023. In her report, she stated that the World Alpagut Federation’s memberships in recognized international sports organizations such as ICSSPE, TAFISA, Confederation of EthnoGames, #International FairPlay Committee are considered the first and greatest success on behalf of Azerbaijan and national sport.

Vasif Namazov, the chairman of the Board of the World AlpagutFederation, announced that the federation has more serious goals for the end of 2023. Later, the board decided to create new departments and also nominate a candidate for the vice-president for public affairs.
In relation to the presentation, by the decision of the Board and the order of the president of WAF, Nuran Huseynov was appointed the Vice-President of the Federation for Public Affairs, Ilhama Novruzova was appointed the head of the newly established Media and Public Relations department, and Elshad Iman was appointed the head of the newly established IT department.
Later, the members of the Board – Farid Alizade, Gudrat Nuriyev, Emil Rahimov, Rafiq Gasimov, as well as the members of the Observation Council – Orkhan Valiyev and Tural Abasguliyev, exchanged ideas on newly proposed topics.
In conclusion, a decision was made to host the 4th World Alpagut Championship in Istanbul, Turkey.
In the end, Jala Ahmedova, Farid Alizade, and Emil Rahimov gave interviews to the media regarding the meeting and answered the questions on the agenda.
