The historic city of Kutaisi, Georgia, hosted the Alpagut World Cup from December 5-8, 2024! This unique event was organized jointly by the World Alpagut Federation (WAF) and the Georgian Alpagut Federation. The competition featured 465 athletes from 14 countries, showcasing a blend of cultures and highlighting the rich heritage of Alpagut.
This year’s World Cup included competitions in the Ayça, Batur, Caymaz, Gurşaq, and Kaçut systems. Athletes demonstrated their physical strength and mental skills as they competed. The event received support from the Kutaisi City Hall, the Kutaisi Sports Department, and the Georgian Ministry of Sports, playing a vital role in the successful organization of this grand event.
