The Iraqi Alpagut Federation has completed its election congress.

The General Assembly of the Iraqi ALPAGUT Federation chose a new federal booth during the electoral conference that was held today, Tuesday, 4/18/2023 in the capital, Baghdad, in the presence of the representative of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee, the representative of the Iraqi Ministry of Youth & sport, and the representative of the World Alpagut Federation.

The elections resulted in Dr. Saad Maan Ibrahim winning the presidency of the union, Mr. Iyad Jaafar as the first deputy, and Muhammad Mohi as the second deputy.
While the membership position was won by Professor Dia Odeh, Walid Khaled, Mahdi Saeed, Dr. Ghaffar Jabari, Salah Nawaf, Mustafa Qassem and Saadoun Al-Ankushi, while the women’s quota position went to a woman named Bassem Qassem and West Saja Aqil Abdel Wahed.
The elections took place in the presence of an electoral committee voted on by the General Assembly and in the presence of a representative of the Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Youth and Sports
