The 4th Alpagut World Championship, which was held at the Naim Süleymanoğlu Sports Complex in Bursa, Turkiye, between December 01-04, 2023, has ended.
In the championship in which national teams of 23 countries participated, there was a tough fight.
At the opening ceremony of the competition, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Chairman Fathi Yıldız, Bursa Yıldırım, District Youth and Sports Services District Director Mehmet Demirci, World Alpagut Federation Vice President for International Relations Emil Rahimov, World Alpagut Federation Board Chairman Kutsan Vasif Namazov and Türkiye Alpagut Federation President Metin Karadeniz participated and wished success to the participants of the competition.
According to the general results of the championship, the Türkiye team with 180 athletes took the 1st place, the Iraqi team with 49 athletes took the 2nd place, and the Azerbaijani team with 44 athletes took the 3rd place.
