02/11/2023, the opening ceremony of the TAFISA Congress, organized by the International Association ” Sport for All,” took place in the city of Dusseldorf, Germany.
The World AlpagutFederation is represented there for the first time.
Farid Alizade , leading the delegation, met with the President of TAFISA after the opening ceremony. Discussions were held on specific issues. Farid Alizade expressed deep gratitude on behalf of the WAF leadership for the invitations from TAFISA.
Various issues were discussed during the opening ceremony, including the underdevelopment of sports in countries currently in wartime conditions, support for global warming measures worldwide, the projected increase in world population by 2030, and more.
TAFISA Vice President Catherine Forde stated that those paying attention to rapid development will be shocked in two years, especially drawing attention to the 2030 agenda. She stated, “Our main goal is 2030.”

Member of the International Olympic Committee and Deputy of the Slovak Olympic Committee, Danka Bartekova, mentioned that the 2024 Paris OlympicGames will go down in history as Carbon Neutral Games. This contributes to the reduction of global emissions, she added.

On the evening of November 1, at the event titled “Regional Meetings,” Farid Alizade spoke at the European continent’s meeting. He provided extensive information about the World Alpagut Federation. In the event where Western Europeans make up the majority, people gained comprehensive knowledge about the development of Alpagut sports. They presented their contact cards and expressed their readiness to collaborate.
