Today, the board of directors of the World Alpagut Federation held an official meeting at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Azerbaijan.

Federation President Jala Ahmedova, Honorary President Farid Alizade, Vice President Emil Rahimov, and President of the Azerbaijan Alpagut Federation Fuad Guliyev were the guests of the Ambassador of Turkey to Azerbaijan, Prof. Dr. Birol Akgün.

The main purpose of the meeting was to promote the Alpagut sport at an international level, to jointly develop Turkish and Azerbaijani cultures, and to further strengthen cooperation in the field of sports between the two countries. President Jala Ahmedova emphasized that Alpagut highlights not only physical development but also mental discipline and personal growth.
Ambassador Prof. Dr. Birol Akgün drew attention to the importance of friendship and strategic cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan, stating that Alpagut is an inseparable part of Turkish culture. He also expressed that the Embassy is ready to provide all kinds of support for this sport to gain more interest among young people.

During the meeting, the parties evaluated the future goals of Alpagut and discussed joint projects to advance cooperation in the field of sports between the two countries.
