The Alpagut Republican Cup, which started at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex on April 13-14, 2024, ended. The competition was carried out by the Azerbaijan Representation of the World Alpagut Federation with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Sports Association of Azerbaijan. In the competition, more than 400 athletes from about 40 branches of the republic tested their strength by competing in Aycha, Batur, Jaymaz, Gurshag fighting systems of Alpagut martial arts.
The first vice-president of the World Alpagut Federation, MP Konul Nurullayeva, vice-presidents Emil Rahimov, Haji Nuran Huseynov, general secretary of Azerbaijan National Sports Association Seymur Gurbanov, Honored Sportsman Agayusif Gurbanov, representative of the Absheron-Khizi Regional Sports Department Ilgar Khudiyev, vice-president of Azerbaijan Kyokshin Karate Federation Allahverdi Rustamov, marketing manager of Aminler group Amil Mammadov, young businessman Elamin Dibirov were among the guests of honor at the official opening ceremony of the competition and veterans, media representatives of other organizations operating in the country participated.
In the artistic part of the competition, Kismet Osmanov, Rahimli Magsud, Elmiraga Budagov, athletes of the Surakhani branch and Elshan Mammadov participated with exemplary performances.
